鳥類(主にオオコノハズク)を対象に、進化・行動・形態など幅広いテーマに取り組んでいます。
研究はフィールド調査（標識調査やGPSロギング）をベースに、遺伝解析や統計解析にも力を入れています。

Working on various topics such as evolution, behaviour and morphology of birds.
Particularly interested in Japanese scops owl Otus semitorques.
My research is based on field work (including bird ringing and GPS logging) and use those data for molecular and statistical analyses.
